The HBA Global Exposition and conference is the largest product development and educational conference for the beauty industry, taking place June 28-30 at the Jacob Javitz Conventional Center in NYC. The conference center program includes sessions in the marketing track, skincare track, international track, green track and technical track.
According to the HBA's website, hot topics include skincare market trends for 2011, 2012, Creating a Successful Beauty brand, Testing Your Claims Scientifically, China, Japan, Korea: East Asian Markets, and Trends in Sustainability. Speakers at the HBA include top executives and distinguised indiviuals.
The exposition will begin with the keynote address by Dan Brestle, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) on opening day, June 28th at 9:00am. The exhibit floor will host private label, contract manufacturing, prestige and mass marketing packaging components, raw materials and ingredient suppliers as well as finished goods.
New innovations will be displayed in the Trend Zone, where the trend showcase by Mintel and other exhibitors will display their new and innovating products. The Trend Zone will also include make-up demos, trends on color, fashion and forecasting.
Career advancement sessions will also take place on Thursday, June 30th for individuals looking to develop in the beauty industry.
